SATURDAY PUPPET THEATER: Bear Snores On

Robinson Nature Center
Saturday, February 29 | 10am, 11am | $5 per person | Ages 2+
Join us for nature-themed puppet theater presentations at the Robinson Nature Center! Each puppet show portrays a different nature story. After the puppet show, create a simple craft to take home. All children must be accompanied by a registered adult for the duration of the program.

SEEDLINGS AT PATUXENT RESEARCH REFUGE

Patuxent Research Refuge

We like to visit this visitor's center every winter to explore all the hands-on exhibits, complete the scavenger hunt and observe what is happening around the lake. We try to take a short hike also! Seedling events are geared toward children age birth-5, however older siblings are always welcome

FAMILY FRIDAYS UNDER THE DOME

Robinson Nature Center
Friday, March 6 | 6:30pm | $7 per person | 6 years+
Treat your family to unique astronomy shows at Robinson! In January, we'll present hands-on astronomy in our auditorium (no planetarium component). Starting in February, each program features a full-dome movie preceded by a family-friendly planetarium presentation in our new, upgraded planetarium! No late seating.

FREE SOCCER SESSION FOR CHILDREN AGES 2-8

Saturday, March 7 | 9-10:50am | Free | 2-8 years
Wondering what Soccer Shots is all about?  Join us for a FREE outdoor Soccer Shots session and help our Soccer Shots team train the newest members of our team. Our 30-minute session will include a warm-up, exclusive Soccer Shots games, introduction to a new soccer skill, and FUN! **Reserve your child's spot by enrolling in the session online.

BONUS RUN

Charm City Run
Saturday February 29  | 10am-12pm | Free
Make use of your extra day in 2020 and join us for a group fun run on Leap Day! We'll start our Leap Day group fun run from Charm City Run Columbia at 10:00am. All paces and levels are welcome. Our route will be about 4 miles but you are welcome to run more or less. All miles today are bonus miles! Under Armour will be onsite with demo shoes of the new HOVR Machina. Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before the run starts to find your size to try on the run. After you finish back at the store, enjoy snacks while shopping special sales.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT TRACK LIGHTS

Oakland Mills High School
Tuesday March 10  | 6:30-9:30pm | Free
Wednesday Night Lights are back!  Now through March 11 there will be lights on at the Oakland Mills High School from 6 pm - 7:30 pm (save Christmas Day and New Years Day).  Your membership fees support these lights, so come one out and bring a friend!

1ST BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION WORKSHOP
