TRUCK OR TREAT

Get in gear for a "wheely" fun day to celebrate Halloween! Come dressed in your favorite costume to trick-or-treat at all of the trucks, tractors, emergency vehicles, and more while meeting some of your hometown heroes! Enjoy live music, hayrides, face painting, children's activities, giveaways, story time and more fall fun! Food trucks will be present offering food for purchase.

LONG REACH HALLOWEEN PARTY

HALLOWEEN HAPPENINGS

Saturday, October 26, 2019, 5:00-6:30pm at Amherst House. Daisy the Clown is back with three, free, magic shows at 5:00, 5:45, and 6:30pm. Walk around the village center to trick-or-treat and visit the Haunted House in the courtyard (sponsored by the Hammond High School Music Department). Village center events take place from 5:00-8:00pm.

FAMILY FRIDAYS UNDER THE DOME

Friday nights with your family should be stellar! Come enjoy unique shows at the Robinson Nature Center’s NatureSphere planetarium. Each program features a full-dome movie preceded by a family-friendly planetarium presentation where you discover what’s in the night sky that month. Show on this date will be Dinosaurs Alive.

Our market supports local businesses and the communities they serve. Weekly donations from our market are made to the Howard County Food Bank.

Saturdays means farmers market at the Commons, where you’ll find local produce, meats, eggs, and so much more! This market is ‘producer only,’ which means that all items are grown of produced by the vendors. This week’s vendors: TLV Tree Farm, Earth First Farm, Hensing’s Hilltop Acres, Pong’s Orchard, Blue Dyer Distilling Co., Not Your Grandma’s Goodies, Dimitri’s Greek Olives, and Althea’s Almost Famous Jamaican Cuisine.
